Ranney Blair was formed in 2012 by Peter Ranney and Scott Blair to create a full service remodeling company based on a few core values to create a positive experience for our customers. It is our goal with every project to leave our customers with a different and better view on how a construction project should START and END.
Peter Ranney
Owner + Business Development
Peter is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in accounting. He grew up in a family construction business on Hilton Head Island, SC. After several years in accounting, Peter realized his true passion was construction. Peter is a licensed General Contractor and also co-founded a successful non-profit, Sunshine on a Ranney Day with his wife, Holly. Sunshine on a Ranney Day renovates homes for children with long-term illnesses.
Scott Blair
Owner + Head of Construction
Scott is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology. Remodeling was a perfect fit with an eye for detail and a passion for building. Scott began his career in the financial industry focusing on relationship management and has carried over the value of customer relationships into the construction world. In his free time, Scott enjoys working on home projects and cheering on all Georgia Tech sports with his wife and daughter.
Our Process
- We learn about your ideas, needs, concerns during a visit to your home. We listen, ask questions and try to gain a full understanding of the goals of your project. At the end of our time together, we can better determine if we are a great fit for each other.
- This planning stage is critical in setting up for your project running smoothly. Our goal is to partner with you to develop a scope of work that matches your investment parameters. You will work with our team of architects and designers to fully develop the details of your project. We will guide you on these selections and design elements so that you are fully aware of what the final costs will be.
- We will present a final, holistic price of the project in our construction agreement so you know exactly what it will cost. Once you have approved the final plans and selections to build your project, we will move into the construction phase.
- A Project Manager will be assigned to you and will give you a detailed schedule of the entire construction process. Your project manager will provide clear and consistent communication about your project and will address any questions or concerns along the way.
- The team will review the finished project with you and make any final adjustments, as we want to make sure you are completely satisfied. We stand by our work and give a 1 year labor warranty.

"Worked with Scott on our remodeling project (Kitchen, office, study and a kitchenette in the basement). Have to tell it was a pleasure to work with him! We loved how professional, ethical, accommodative, super friendly and affordable he was! He tried to satisfy all our needs and help us achieve our dream by making it affordable! For every decision we had to make, Scott came up with options which were on a range from high end to affordable, all of it with great quality.
