We are owned and operated by John Newland, along with a dedicated team of highly-skilled project managers, carpenters, and support staff. John and his wife Marielle (JOMA = John + Marielle) moved to Athens in 2001 and officially started the business in 2005, after 3 years of hands-on learning. Since then, we have had the opportunity to work on over 900 residential and commercial projects, ranging from bathroom renovations to design-build new construction.

Is JOMA Repairs new?

JOMA has always completed reliable and professional repairs in the Athens area. As demand grew for fast, small repairs around the home we began to turn away some of our favorite clients, friends, and neighbors due to practical volume. We didn't have a separate process for repairs and our remodeling teams were getting bogged down. In the spring of 2018 we painstakingly revised Our Process and internal operations to create greater efficiency, and split repairs into its own division of JOMA Construction. Now, with their own team, process, and fully equipped vans, JOMA Repairs can respond to all home and business repair requests and start them quickly. Repairs also completes punch work, warranty work, and repairs for all divisions of JOMA Construction creating better efficiency for all jobs completed by JOMA.
