Handcrafted Homes Inc.

We were founded in 1976 by Judy Mozen with the express intent to design, build and renovate homes that illustrate attention to detail in every aspect of construction from relations with the homeowners, and execution of the process, to the nature of the final product.

Randy Urquhart, Vice President, joined the leadership of Handcrafted Homes, Inc in 1986 and has emphasized the same attention to detail in his handling of client communications and finances.

The staff of Handcrafted Homes, Inc is proud of their educational certifications, membership in professional organizations and community leadership.

Judy Mozen has served as Secretary, Treasurer, President Elect, and President of NARI National, and most recently she served as the Chair of the NARI National Board of Directors. Handcrafted Homes Inc. has membership in the Better Business Bureau, Leadership Atlanta, and the Commerce Club. Along with two Georgia State Residential/Light Commercial licenses, our staff has the following certifications: Master Certified Remodeler and Green Certified Professional with NARI, Certified Professional Builder and Certified Green Professional with GAHBA, EarthCraft Builder and Renovator, International Code Council Residential Building Inspector, and EPA Lead Renovation Firm.

Handcrafted Homes, Inc. is a family-owned business, founded by Judy Mozen on March 6, 1976. We are a licensed and insured custom home design, construction, and remodeling company (License RLC000870). We pride ourselves on the excellent home remodeling services that we provide homeowners throughout the metro Atlanta area.

Our outstanding customer service, transparency, and attention to detail has kept us in business for over forty years. We have won numerous national, regional, and local awards, including honors from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), the Greater Atlanta Homebuilders Association (GAHBA), EarthCraft, and Chrysalis, but we would be nowhere without our amazing clients.
